Virtual Health Implementation Specialist 

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Virtual Health Implementation Specialist to join our team and work closely with healthcare providers, administrators, and IT staff to ensure that telehealth services and technologies are effectively integrated into a large healthcare system. You will work with cross-functional teams and the customer with planning, deployment, implementation, and adoption of telehealth programs, technologies, and services across a large Federal health system.

As a Telehealth Implementation Specialist, you will provide end-user support to providers, staff, and patients; train users on telehealth technology, digital apps, and updated workflows, and ensure optimal utilization of the tools, systems, and equipment. You will also work closely with healthcare providers and administrators to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to enhance telehealth services.

The role requires the following experience and understanding: (1) working with providers /patients, (2) offering clinical support, programs or tools to providers or patients, and (3) experience in health program or health platform implementation, training, and adoption support..

Responsibilities

As a Telehealth Implementation Specialist, you will work with cross-functional teams and our customers throughout the planning, deployment, implementation, and adoption of telehealth programs, technologies, and services across a national health system.


Deployment Planning and Execution:

  • Create comprehensive deployment schedules for the roll-out of telehealth technologies and digital health tools at the enterprise, program, and site levels.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT staff, and external vendors, to develop and maintain implementation plans and approaches.
  • Develop and maintain deployment playbooks to ensure consistent and successful implementation across multiple sites.
  • Update and maintain process maps, workflow documentation, and operational change planning templates and toolkits.
  • Create national and site-specific release, implementation, and deployment materials to support scaled deployments.
  • Develop content for national deployment toolkits, procedures, and messaging materials.
  • Supports go-live and post go-live customer facing support
  • Monitor and track progress during deployment, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Refine site deployment plans based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to update product requirements, training approaches, and implementation protocols.
  • Continuously improve deployment processes based on feedback and lessons learned.

Enterprise Implementation and Adoption Support:

  • Engage with clinical stakeholders within the healthcare system.
  • Provide end-user support to healthcare providers, staff, and patients, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our telehealth technology and digital apps.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement field support visits to assist with the use of telehealth equipment and software.
  • Provide technical support to staff in resolving technical and non-technical issues during the transition to digital health solutions.
  • Support digital health initiatives' implementation and deployment, including engagement and adoption planning and tracking.
  • Assist in data collection and documentation of process flows to assess site readiness and support field site visits.
  • Ensures client satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness and thorough communication.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to update product requirements, training approaches, and implementation protocols.
  • Continuously improve deployment processes based on feedback and lessons learned.

Training and Communication:

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions to equip users with updated workflows and optimize their utilization of the telehealth tools, systems, and equipment.
  • Develop training materials and resources to support the adoption and effective use of telehealth tools.
  • Conduct training programs, virtual forums, live training sessions, and office hours for end-users, including healthcare professionals and patients to ensure efficient utilization of the system.
  • Develop and update communication materials to reinforce branding and drive adoption.
  • Applies understanding of clinical workflows, voice of customer, and healthcare expertise to refine practice and aid clients in developing tailored solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience. Relevant experience with (1) working with providers /patients, (2) offering clinical support, programs or tools to providers or patients, and (3) experience in health program or health platform implementation, training, and adoption support.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical workflows.
  • Experience engaging with clinical stakeholders within the healthcare system to implement new clinical programs or technologies to improve access to care, quality, or care delivery.
  • Experience providing support and training to end-users.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a cross functional team.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Current RN licensure and maintained throughout employment.
  • Experience with telehealth or digital health tool and equipment implementations in clinical settings
  • Understanding of the clinician's perspective and experience in integrating virtual care tools into care delivery workflows.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and considerations involved in effectively integrating digital health technologies within clinical settings.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure seamless integration of virtual care tools into existing workflows.
  • Experience providing professional services to clinical environments.
  • Experience supporting Federal government healthcare agencies.


Other Information:

This is a full-time position with typical business hours for team members based out of/reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia. The work will be done remotely from NC, SC, or VA. The position may require some travel to medical facilities across the country.
